Jill Seltzer (Managing Director) joined ETC in February of 2016. For the past 20 years she has provided leadership to non-profit organizations and foundations, with much of her work focusing on the creative arts. Most recently, Ms. Seltzer served as Executive Director of the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, overseeing offices in Los Angeles and New York. She expanded the foundation’s Literacy program to an international audience of 3 million views per month, and managed the design, construction and staffing of a new New York City Actors Center. She raised the awareness of the Foundation by establishing a celebrity Ambassador Program, and spearheaded fundraising efforts in both LA and New York.
As Vice President of Institutional Advancement for WBEZ Chicago Public Radio, Ms. Seltzer completed a highly successful $15M capital campaign and built a staff of professional fundraisers responsible for raising $3M in annual support. Prior to WBEZ, she served as Program Officer for the Weingart Foundation in Los Angeles, Executive Director of the $150M Lloyd A. Fry Foundation in Chicago, Associate Director of the Chicago based Prince Charitable Trusts, and was Director of Marketing for Chicago’s fabled Auditorium Theatre.
Ms Seltzer attended Mt. Holyoke College. She has held leadership positions at the Council On Foundations, Chicago Women in Philanthropy, the Independent Sector, the Wise Giving Alliance, and the Donors Forum of Chicago and was named Professional Grantor of the Year by the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
